I think once we get a good couple expansions I’ll love it a whole lot, but at this exact moment, it’s a computer thing. The loading times are outrageous, it takes my computer to its limits, and that’s without all the CC I would like.Īnd I also like TS4. Honestly I would love to run TS3 constantly still. So, why did you guys ALL move to TS4? Is there something very interesting in TS4 that I missed? But I don’t know if it is worth paying like $100 for such satisfaction. So Open for Business was a very satisfactory EP to me. I am a huge fan of any business tycoon type of games. Or I could just buy it any time soon to play Get to Work. I am waiting for TS4 offers a big discount. (I feel like TS4 for now is more suitable for playing an entire town - don’t get me wrong I enjoy this kind of play style too) So my guess is that TS4 has become dominant because it runs better on low-end machines than Sims 3? I’m just curious. I like the cartoony atmosphere, but I’ve heard it lacks many features, especially if you mostly play legacy style. (it could be just because I follow only a few simblrs atm, oh well.) I have zero idea/knowledge about TS4 as I haven’t played it myself. But it’s strange that it seems hard to find TS3 players any longer. I mean it’s obvious the majority of people play TS4 at this point.
Make sure you add Stairs after you’re done!Īfter a 2-year hiatus, I’ve seen most of my followees moved to TS4, although most simblrs I personally have known still play TS3. You can go down to the underground level and simply plop some pre-built Rooms. This trick also applies for the 2nd underground level, although after you follow all of these steps above you also need to use the Sledgehammer Tool and remove the Ceiling of the 2nd Basement level.īasements don’t have to be built exclusively using the Basements Tool. You can remove the ceiling by clicking the Basement Room, going up to the Upper Level, selecting the yellow layer around the Room and clicking Remove Ceiling.
Pools can only be added on the first underground level, but in the second underground level you’re able to add windows on the Pool walls which allows you to create a really cool Pool Lounge!īasements are not just for secret lairs and hidden rooms.Make sure you light up the Basement before decorating it!.You can move, rotate and push & pull the basement rooms. You can also just search for the Basements tool using the Search feature.Īdd stairs so you can connect the ground level with the Basement. To begin building Basements, head into the Build Mode and select the Walls and Empty Rooms section.
Probably one of the biggest feature in The Sims 4’s second March Update are the Basements.īasements allow you to go 2 Stories deep into the ground and build Rooms and Pools inside!
